Public videos you are allowed to save

These tools fetch a public YouTube video and save MP3 or MP4. They are for videos you own, recorded yourself, or have permission to download. They are not a way around copyright or YouTube's rules.

Private, live, members-only, and age-restricted videos fail. YouTube also blocks third-party access without notice, so a link that worked last month can fail today. The link is sent to our server long enough to fetch the stream. We do not keep the file.

If you already know the job, start with YouTube to MP3 or YouTube to MP4.

Every format on the site is listed from the homepage.

The link is sent, the file is not kept

Open the tool that names your two formats and read what the download will contain before you delete the original. If a result does not match that description, tell us.

Public links you are allowed to keep

These tools save MP3 or MP4 from a public YouTube link. They are for video you own, recorded yourself, or have permission to download. They are not a bypass for copyright, for a private video, or for a members-only stream. Paste a watch link, a Shorts link, or a youtu.be link. Live and age-restricted videos fail. YouTube can also block a fetch that worked last month, without a change on this site.

The link is sent to the server so the stream can be fetched. The file is not kept as a library. That is different from every browser converter on the rest of the site, which never uploads your document. Read the privacy policy if you want the short version of that split. Do not paste a playlist and expect every item. Use the tool that matches audio or video, not both at once.

Paste the single video URL, not a channel page and not a playlist. If the fetch fails, read the message. A private video will not become public because you tried twice. Save the result on your device if you need it later. This site does not keep a copy you can come back for. Use the MP3 tool when you need sound only, and the MP4 tool when you need the picture. Shorts use the same public-link rule as a normal watch URL. A short length does not make the video yours. If you recorded it, you can save it. If you did not, do not.

One link, one file, one right

Copy the address from the share button, not from a search result title. A playlist link does not mean every video in the list will download. Paste one watch URL or one Shorts URL. If the page says the video is private or live, stop. Logging into YouTube in another tab does not pass that login to this tool. The fetch uses the public stream, not your account.

Save the MP3 or MP4 on your device with a name you will recognize. This site will not have it tomorrow. If you need a clip from the middle, trim the file after the download, on your device, with the video trimmer. Do not ask the YouTube tool to become an editor. Copyright is unchanged by the format. A file you were not allowed to download is not allowed because the button succeeded.

After a successful save, play the file offline with the network disabled for a moment. If it still plays, the download is a real file on the device and not a stream that only worked while the page was open. Then you can close the tab. If it does not play offline, the fetch did not finish. Run it again and wait until the browser shows a completed download, not only a progress message on the page.
